Patronage Payout Begins

More Than Just Loans: We Are Paying Back $12.3 Million to our Member-Borrowers

As a leading agricultural lending cooperative and we are proud to announce the distribution of $12.3 million in cash patronage dividends to our member-borrowers. This distribution, based on the cooperative’s strong financial performance in 2024, represents nearly sixty percent of our profits and effectively reduces our eligible members’ interest rates by almost 1%.

As a member-owned financial cooperative, we operate with the philosophy that success should be shared with those who make it possible; our member-borrowers. Through the patronage program, a portion of our net earnings is returned to our members, reinforcing our cooperative’s commitment to strengthening agriculture and rural communities across Alabama.

“The board of directors is dedicated to ensuring our cooperative remains a trusted financial partner for our members,” said board chairman, Larry Gibson. “By returning nearly half of our profits to our members, we’re not only reducing their cost of borrowing but also reinforcing the financial strength and sustainability of our cooperative.”

Since 2006, we have returned over $146 million to our members. This ongoing commitment to patronage underscores our cooperative focus on long-term growth, financial stability, and delivering value to our member-borrowers.

Patronage distributions will be disbursed to our eligible member-borrowers beginning March 13th, further demonstrating our commitment to fostering growth and financial success within the communities we serve.
