The Alabama FFA Foundation received $20,000 from two Farm Credit lending cooperatives as they once again commit to serving as title sponsors of the 2020 state convention.

This year’s event begins on June 2 with competitions in the Auburn-Opelika area. It continues June 3-5 in Montgomery with a state service project, agriscience and career fairs, award ceremonies and more. During the career expo, attendees can visit with the associations to learn more about the career opportunities in agricultural lending as well as have a little fun and ride a mechanical bull!

FFA prepares young people for leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. About 2,000 students, advisors, and parents from across Alabama attend the state convention.
